Jacqui Williams, Allyson Diane Hamm
As we dream about our next minster, we might unconsciously be narrowing the field. This service set the tone for the afternoon workshop titled, Beyond Categorical Thinking. Jacqui Williams and Allyson Diane Hamm (Representatives from the UUA) shared information from their lives as a way of helping us understand what it is like to be among marginalized identities. The purpose of the day was to promote inclusive thinking and help prevent unfair discrimination in the ministerial search process.
