On this Sunday in which we recognized the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr., our service reflected on themes from Mark Morrison-Reed’s newest book, The Selma Awakening. Morrison-Reed is the foremost scholar of African-American Unitarian Universalist history. Selma represented a turning point for Unitarian Universalists. How might our history of placing faith in action inform our future?
